The Inventor is a true story inspired by the life of Herman Margulies, a brilliant, but obstinate holocaust survivor who leaves Poland in search of a better life in the United States.  With an unwavering spirit of hope, he overcomes the pain of his past and builds an accomplished, yet un-applauded career as an inventor, revolutionizing modern medical devices. Later, he pursues his passion as an artist, and despite his professional success, his personal life is overshadowed by eccentricities and his obsessive lifestyle with the women he loved.
